Hammer, the leading specialist value-add distributor, and Huawei, the global ICT vendor, have entered into a UK and Ireland-wide distribution agreement.
The partnership will see Hammer adding Huawei’s servers, storage systems, cloud computing products and datacentre solutions to its portfolio. “This is an excellent opportunity for us to help our channel partners increase their market share by offering Huawei’s innovative range to their customers,” said Jason Beeson, Hammer’s commercial director.
Huawei’s product line focuses on IT infrastructure, providing easily adaptable, versatile and energy efficient ways for enterprises to improve business agility and internal operating efficiency by simplifying their IT systems. Resellers have the opportunity to add value by focusing on providing the professional services and support to help end users to take advantage of the scalable and flexible Huawei approach. “We always seek to work with pioneering vendors who look to disrupt the market and Huawei certainly does that. Its emphasis on, and investment in, R&D can clearly be seen in its innovative range,” added Jason Beeson.
Steven Cooper, head of enterprise solutions at Hammer, said: “This is a good example of how Hammer adds value to the distribution process. We work closely with our channel partners to ensure they have the best range of products to ensure end-users’ needs and requirements are fully met.”
Michael Rae, UK channel director for Huawei said: “We are delighted to be working with value-add distributor Hammer. Huawei is enjoying high growth and we are constantly seeking new opportunities, new customers and new routes to the enterprise market. Hammer, with its long experience of working with the channel and its reputation, is the type of partner we look for.
